2017 Woodside International Horse Trials Adequan USEA Gold Cup CIC3* and Advanced Course Preview

The Adequan USEA Gold Cup CIC3* and Advanced divisions completed their dressage tests earlier this morning at the Woodside International Horse Trials in Woodside, California, and will show jump over Michael Roy Curtis’ course this evening at 5:00 p.m. The finale will take place on cross-country tomorrow morning.

Five 4-year-olds and eight 5-year-olds competed in the 2017 USEA Young Event Horse (YEH) West Coast Championship at Woodside International in Woodside, Calif. today. In YEH classes, the competition is based on three scores: conformation (15%), dressage (35%) and jumping (50%).

The Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team will wrap up the 2017 FEI Nations Cup™ season when they compete against 16 nations at Military Boekelo-Enschede CCIO3* Thursday, October 5-8, 2017. Under the guidance of acting Chef d’Equipe Leslie Law, the team of Katherine Coleman, Elisabeth Halliday-Sharp, and Caroline Martin will fight for a strong finish as they work to upset series leaders Great Britain, who hold a 10-point lead over France.

Fair Hill International Three-Day Event assure that there will be an exciting competition for the U.S. Equestrian Federation (USEF) CCI3* and CCI2* Fall Eventing Championships and the U.S. Eventing Association (USEA) Young Event Horse East Coast Championships at the event in Fair Hill, Maryland, October 12-15.
